The Buyer will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, purchasing, and controlling activities related to non-raw material procurement for manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: * Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements. * Adhere to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures. * Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse and inventory control policies and procedures. * Coordinate product deliveries utilizing knowledge of material work planning and methods of engineering processes. * Maintain appropriate records to guide future purchase needs. * Generate and send new purchase orders to vendors. * Review requisitions, prepare purchase orders, and bid requests. * Communicate with vendors to review order status and address discrepancies in quantity, quality, and pricing. * Interface with all departments to resolve problems and issues as necessary. * Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. * Develop, implement, and maintain internal inventory control systems. * Assist other departments when required. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: * 2+ Years of experience in a buyer or similar role. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. * Proficient time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. * Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Capability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary. * Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, as well as Manufacturing Software. * Collaborative work ethic.
