Job Description: |
Lead culinary team in a high-volume, fast-paced Thai restaurant. Serve and prepare Thai cuisine and desserts. Create and develop menus and recipes, and source ingredients for Thai dishes. Train kitchen staff to prepare and cook Thai dishes. Oversee kitchen operations, including food prep, cleaning, safety, and training. Delegate tasks to food preppers based on their abilities, such as cutting veggies, making sauces, or marinating meats. Communicate clearly with food preppers and cooks on how to make dishes. Ensure that food preppers adhere to the restaurant's recipes and procedures for ingredients, technique, cooking methods, and presentation.
May require 20% domestic travel to open new restaurant and train new kitchen staff.
