Full-Time: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000, less applicable taxes.

nVent is adding a full-time 3rd shift Machine Operator Lead to the team!
The Machine Operator Lead operates machinery to meet production schedules in order to meet Customer delivery needs and expectations. Supports Continuous Improvement through participation in Kaizen events and provides input, support and actions to implement and maintain improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate assembly equipment to meet production requirements
Be able to follow and perform periodic product inspection instructions
Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain optimal machine operating speeds
Complete daily Production Reporting and Downtime Sheets
Ability to perform daily autonomous maintenance procedures
Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams
Perform cycle counts as needed
Maintain 5S standards
Monitor & coach production employees to work safely and efficiently to ensure production and safety standards are met
Monitor employees & enforce company policies and procedures
Stretch wrap finished good pallets
Print labels
Perform performance evaluations
Conduct week team meetings
All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED is required
Ability to Operate production assembly equipment
Ability to use basic inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
Basic shop math skills
Willing to work overtime when necessary
Ability to work a variety of jobs
Ability to exchange information with co-workers and work as part of a team
Ability to work independently and make independent decisions
Ability to train others on the job
Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written safety instructions
Ability to operate a forklift

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:
$26.10 - $48.50 Per Hour
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
