Search Specialist, gTech Ads

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with media management, data analytics, and campaign management.
  • Experience with reporting, stakeholder management, and customer consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in digital advertising and working with product teams on scalable business solutions.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, campaign optimization or industry and product experience outside Google in digital media agencies.
  • Ability to be comfortable with large data sets to build compelling insights, think strategically‌ ‌and‌ ‌analyze‌ ‌the‌ ‌needs‌ ‌of‌ ‌stakeholders.‌
  • Ability to be proactive and take ownership of accounts, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Ability‌ ‌to‌ ‌independently‌ ‌lead,‌ ‌communicate‌, ‌and‌ ‌collaborate‌ ‌with‌ ‌multiple‌ ‌stakeholders‌.
  • Excellent people management skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and multiple stakeholders in a global team.

gTech’s Professional Services team takes a creative, collaborative, and customer-centric approach to provide foundational services and forward-looking business solutions to top advertiser and publisher customers. Through technical implementation, optimization, and key solutions, gTech Professional Services helps customers attain their business goals while building long-term capabilities.

The gTech Ads Media Activations team, AUNZ, partners with the Large Customer Sales (LCS) team to provide product and data-driven expertise to empower our largest and most sophisticated customers to meet their advertising goals.

As a Search Specialist, you will own the Search strategy for key clients across the entire business cycle. You will need to drive in depth solutions to help our top search spenders achieve their customer business objectives in partnership with the LCS teams through pitching and activating new products. You will also act as an advisor and consultant that works across functions and alongside global teams, as well as a client advocate within Google.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, pitch, implement, and optimize along with cross-functional teams. Understand the client’s business objectives and lead a holistic Search strategy.
  • Be the Search advocate to drive performance for them and increase investment into Google. Collaborate closely with functional teams to drive short and long-term account growth based on market priorities.
  • Test and scale new product launches and help clients ramp up on experimental campaigns by proving success (e.g., Broad match, VBB, etc.).
  • Partner in designing and publishing playbooks/guides on product solutions and industry best practices. Deep understanding of complex Search campaign set up and recommending optimization strategies.
  • Recommend pilot campaigns for Beta adoption on Search products and monitoring closely for performance and reporting.
