1. Has obtained certification and is registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Minnesota. Must maintain certification/registration through the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
2. Successfully completes a pre-employment background check, health screening and/or additional processes as applicable.
3. Attends work site per schedule, yet can be flexible with scheduling to meet emergency staffing needs. Must work weekends as assigned.
4. Proficiently operates a computer and is capable of using required software programs.
5. Accurately follows oral and written instructions, pays attention to detail and follows through with initiated tasks.
6. Effectively performs routine, repetitive tasks with sustained attention to detail and technique. |

| Job Description: |
The Pharmacy Technician performs duties essential to maintaining the pharmacy. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. The Pharmacy Technician interacts with hospital/ clinic staff, students and volunteers. The ability to communicate with pharmacy and non-pharmacy coworkers is essential. This position prepares, labels and delivers medications, manages drug inventory, adjusts medication charges and performs additional tasks as assigned under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician must be able to perform routine tasks on own initiative and recognize additional needs as they arise.
