Maintenance Handyman Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Handyman Tech to join our team. Maintenance Handyman Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
• Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
• Install new equipment, fixtures, and systems as required.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and develop appropriate solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Handyman Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Proficient in using various hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and operating machinery.

Maintenance Handyman Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a similar role within a commercial or residential setting.
• Certification or license in a relevant field, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.

Pay Rate: $23 an hour.
