About Nexus:
The Southeast Regional Crisis Center (SERCC) is a 24/7 walk-in mental health facility designed specifically for people experiencing a mental health crisis. The center provides a calm, safe and welcoming environment. Patients receive immediate help from compassionate staff who are experts in crisis, trauma, and mental health care.
SERCC is open 24 hours a day, everyday, to people of all ages in the 10-county region, regardless of their financial situation or insurance status. We help to stabilize their immediate crisis, and develop integrated plans for ongoing care they may need when they leave the center.
SERCC also houses short-term residential facilities for those that need longer care. With 16 beds, the center has separate units for adults and youth (ages 10-18), has nursing services, individual and group counseling, and care coordination upon discharge.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate medical and dental related care for residents.
Assist in providing employee health services and training.
Maintain internal and external communication regarding resident medical issues.
Attend and participate in staff and training sessions as required. Understand and support the Nexus philosophy and treatment modalities.
Ensure confidentiality regarding client/resident medical background and treatment issues and comply with Nexus policies involving resident privacy and confidentiality rules for residents and their families.

Schedule & Pay:
Full time, around 30 hours per week
Flexible schedules from 7am-11:30pm, NO overnights!
Occasional weekends
Pay - starting at $26 per hour for LPNs
$200 bi-weekly commute stipend for employees driving more than 35 miles!

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinic and/or hospital environment.
First Aid/CPR/CPI/Medication Administration certification.
Valid driver's license and a driving record that satisfies regulating agency and corporate policy.
