Job Description

Day to Day:

· TRAVEL: 50-75% travel. Anywhere from a day trip to 3-4 months. Weeks to months-notice for all travel aside from a few emergency cases.

· Respond to customer and field dispatches to determine the root cause of the service or repair

· Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment failures with support from the home office engineering team

· Install, commission, and test new equipment while completing detailed job reports, both internal and external

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Haves:

· At least a high school diploma with 3-5 years of mechanically-inclined troubleshooting, technical education is preferred (trade school/associates degree or higher)

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Sharepoint

· Valid U.S. Driver's License and clean driving record

· Must be able to pass drug screenings and background checks from both Swindell Dressler and clients

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

· Experience maintaining and servicing industrial heat treatment equipment

· Familiarity with OSHA, electrical, and other industrial safety practices (some training provided)

· Understanding of process controls systems, including PID controls, process sensing equipment, and final controls elements

· Understanding of basic combustion, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
