Responsibilities



The Marketing Data Scientist will be pivotal in inspiring the organization to a more customer centric culture. This role will create customer insight to drive data-based decision-making, improve marketing effectiveness, and help uncover growth opportunities. This role is critical to providing actionable insights to all business units' stakeholders.
The Marketing Data Scientist is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting marketing spend, performance, and customer data. The role also includes predictive and statistical modeling to forecast consumer behavior and optimize marketing strategies. This role would be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing low organizational demand performance. Job functions include data analysis, statistical modeling, data mining, A/B and multi-variant testing design, performance measurement, market research, collaborative decision-making, data visualization, and data-driven insights.
The Marketing Data Scientist is responsible for planning and executing weekly and monthly reports that showcase marketing performance and demand-centric marketing impact.

Qualifications



Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science) or three years of direct experience in marketing analytics or data science in lieu of Bachelor's degree
Minimum two years' experience using analytical skills including diagnostic and statistical analysis, predictive modeling and data mining
Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., email, web, paid media, social media)
1 year experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven advanced understanding of marketing principles, concepts and strategies, digital marketing channels and social media platforms
Experience with multi-touch attribution
Experience with Google Ad, Meta Ad and LinkedIn Ad Analytics
Strong experience with Google Analytics
Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce solutions, such as Pardot
Experience with call tracking applications (e.g., Webex, Invoca)
Strong experience presenting complex information in data dashboard format
