Job Description

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: General Purpose: General Purpose: Performs all record
keeping for inventory control of parts room, tools, machine components
and expenses used by maintenance personnel. Provides day-to-day
miscellaneous administrative and component purchasing support to
maintenance as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Generates receivers
for all incoming parts and verifies quality at time of delivery.
Receives in stock and keeps parts room organized. Pairs work orders with
the correct part(s) in preparation for the assigned mechanic to retrieve
and complete the work order. Performs cycle counts each week in the
parts room to verify accuracy of inventory. Counts material, equipment,
merchandise, and/or supplies in stock and inputs data into system.
Monitors various expenses spent on each piece of equipment. Assists with
the maintaining and managing of the Computerized Maintenance Management
System to ensure accurate and detailed information is stored and
retrievable. Updates and maintains the vendor list. Understands and
applies company safety policies, GMPs, and any other applicable
regulations and programs. Performs other responsibilities as determined
by business needs. Required Minimum Qualifications: Education and
Experience 2-3 years related experience preferably in a manufacturing
setting. 2-3 years CMMS experience Necessary Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Excellent communication skills Strong customer focus
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently, and within a
team. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and
CMMS applications. Reliable and ability to meet deadlines.
Detail-orientated, self-directed, computer skills, organized. Team
player Proficient 10-key skills Ability to research and resolve order
related problems Licensing and Certification: Technical certifications
preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: Maintenance department
environment Required to sit/stand for periods of time Occasional lifting
