Job Description

A large retail client is seeking a Buyer/Purchaser to join their Business Development team in King of Prussia, PA. This individual will be responsible for handling supplier relationships for their custom-made kitchen work tops. Day to day, they will work closely with market suppliers to negotiate pricing, handle logistics and shipping, and improve supplier performance. Additional responsibilities include working with internal teams to develop reports based on delays and other common themes regarding supplier quality. This person will indirectly manage a Production Engineer, and Supply Planner.



This individual is expected to be onsite 3-5x per week in King of Prussia, PA and will travel domestically and internationally 20-30% of the year.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or any other relevant degree

- 5-8+ years experience as a Buyer/Planner within the enterprise retail industry

- Experience working with Total Cost and Value Chain Analysis

- Experience working with C-Suite executives and comfortable presenting to leadership teams
