About the Job



Hiring Salary Range: $55,000-$62,000 DOQ
This position will assist Classroom Technical Services (CTS) with coordination of audiovisual installation projects, operations, and support services. The duties of this position involve comparing, verifying, and reconciling data to help the department achieve overall objectives.
CTS is an on-site service provider, with a work expectation for staff to be at work in-person and on campus.
60% Coordination
Coordinate CTS projects and monitor statuses for on-time completion.
Work closely with the engineering and management teams to schedule various project aspects, such as parts acquisitions, installations, walk-through assessments, subcontractor work, and programming.
Monitor work conducted by University and external service providers, including tracking and documenting project work and services, site surveys, and participating in walk-through assessments; electrical, and millwork.
20% Administration
Attend and/or conduct meetings with stakeholders as required.
Perform pre- and post-installation administrative duties.
Create, review, and update forms and guides to ensure and enhance CTS production, engineering, and sales processes and quality assurance methods.
Participate in the development of new methods, systems, etc., to ensure smooth implementation and continuity of planned activities.
10% Special Project and Reports
Conduct basic statistical analysis, prepare reports.
Analyze project progress and deliver recommendations or conclusions.
10% Other Duties
Participate as an active, contributing team member on all assigned projects and related project delivery meetings.
Take initiative when resolving problems.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree plus two years of full-time work experience, or a combination of education and relevant work experience to equal at least six years.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience using computer software: Relational databases, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite.
Knowledge of business practices related to technology installations, operations, and procedures.
Strong organizational skills.
Audiovisual systems knowledge.
