JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description JOB TITLE: Generalist I - Human Resources
FLSA STATUS: Hourly / Overtime Eligible PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible
for providing Basic administrative support to Department of Employee
Services & Benefits PRIMARY DUTIES: Legend: E = Essential NE =
Non-Essential N/A = Not Applicable 1. Perform administrative and
services related to the department such as scanning documents, answering
calls inquiries to the department. E 2. Prepare, process, and follow up
all employment verifications, employee references, id badges & control
log, background checks, end of employment documentation and close
process. E 3. Assist with audits prep, tuition support request, employee
data entry, and documentation into HRIS system. E 4. Develop and submit
reports and documents as needed. E 5. Assist and help facilitate new
employee orientation E 6. Provide support on projects and special
assignments. NE 7. Perform administrative and clerical duties for the
department. E 8. Attend all meetings and professional development
activities, as requested. NE 9. Perform other related duties, as
assigned. NE 10. Be a team player! E Requirements PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is generally performed in office setting and may include some local
travel and occasional state-wide travel. REPORTS TO: HR Manager or
designee MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma plus three (3)
years\' experience working in a Human Resource setting. OR 2. Associate
Degree or equivalent (60 credits) from an accredited College or
University in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or closely related field
and one (1) year working in an administrative position. 1. Bilingual
(Spanish and English), spoken and written. (Highly preferred) Qualifies
for annual stipend. 3. Neat orderly person with great organizational
skills. 4. Must be a \"People Person\" with a great disposition and
outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant
to work with and is a good listener. 5. Knowledge and experience with
Microsoft Office suite. 6. Must be willing and able to work flexible
hours as needed. 7. Excellent communication and documentation skills,
