Job Description:
HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Senior Data and Quality Coordinator. The coordinator supports a quality and service improvement program through measurement, data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation. In addition to data analysis, it supports project improvement efforts and education regarding medical group patient satisfaction measurement processes and clinical quality measurement sets.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 4 years' experience in healthcare and/or information systems
Cumulative minimum of 3 years project leadership and/or project management experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in data analysis
Demonstrated project management skills.
Good PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
Excellent interpersonal communication, group process, meeting skills, can form groups, listen, resolve conflict, and give feedback.
Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated data development and analysis and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Has teaching skills.
Experience working with and negotiating with external vendors.
Hours/Location:
M-F; Days
May work remotely but will prefer local/regional candidates for occasional onsite needs.
Accountabilities:
Data Analyst
Ensures data integrity using established methods of data validation.
Documents issues and problems regarding internal data sets and all vended data services and communicates that to the appropriate stakeholders.
Makes recommendations for resolution to identified issues and problems.
Recommends formatting improvements to our current reporting and continuously looks for new formatting ideas.
Research up to date ideas from external sources to apply to health care.
Continuously researches best practices and improvement opportunities for measurement display and improvement.
Uses appropriate software tools to perform analysis and display results.
Quality Coordinator
Leads projects that have a strong emphasis on data and measurement.
Uses the appropriate systems, software tools, and project management tools to perform the role.
Trains leaders and staff in the use of data, as needed.
Maintains relationships with other data collection departments and business owners to integrate measurement into the improvement model.
May simultaneously manage or advise one major project or numerous smaller projects.
Uses quality improvement methods, tools, and project management theory to develop and maintain project support for leadership and team(s).
May also use standard methodologies, tools, and project management software, develops, and maintains project documentation, work plans, and project deliverables.
