Product Information Analyst-Digital Assets

Position location is flexible and may office from a branch in Winona, MN - Indianapolis, IN or Greensboro, NC

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm



OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-time Product Information Analyst-Digital Assets, you will be responsible for accumulating, maintaining, and managing product specific content and data, while supporting Fastenal's best practices on data consistency and governance. You will be part of a fast-paced team that spans globally working alongside multiple business units within the organization including eCommerce, Supply Chain, IT, Product Development, Sales and Business Operations. You will be driving towards a common goal of establishing consistency and higher quality of data across the organization and to our customers. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Researching and understanding different product offerings and industry standards to help create best practices, consistency and governance across our digital assets

o Creating a cadence for audits on our digital assets to establish consistency

o Enforcing Fastenal's governance strategies on incoming digital assets from our suppliers

o Executing data optimization efforts that support Fastenal's data governance practices

o Collaborating with our Marketing Team and Product Development to support with digital assets used for Marketing material

o Contributing towards team goals, KPIs and Metrics



REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Marketing or a related field of study OR have prior administrative work experience

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe CS, primarily Photoshop

o Thrive in a flexible and dynamic environment, comfortable with uncertainty and change

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deducting reasoning and decision-making skills

o Demonstrate willingness to learn, attention to detail and sense of urgency

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)



PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Previous experience working with product information

o General knowledge of ecommerce platforms and functionality of their product data and content
