Job Description

Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opening for a Technical Services Manager in our Security Department. This is a front-line position and will plan, direct, and coordinate all technical requirements for our security department. You'll be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, strengthening customer equipment utilization, and improving overall equipment performance. This role will be based in the Cleveland-Cliffs HQ in in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will utilize their knowledge of and passion for security systems to improve security protocols, identify security trends across the company, and promote a culture of health and well-being to protect life safety and our operations.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day activities of all technical service requirements for our security team and ensure prompt response and resolution to customer issues
Work closely with IT and Cybersecurity to improve equipment performance, quality, and safety using internal tools to effectively manage service cases and track common service themes
Coordinate with Project Managers to assemble and execute a successful, cost-effective installation/centralization of security tools and functions
Oversee technical problem resolution and collaborate with other functional departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of implemented security measures using quantitative metrics
Work closely with IT and software teams to optimize data storage, retrieval, and reporting capabilities
Provide training and guidance to our security teams on security tools, data interpretation, and utilization
Maintain updated knowledge of the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in the security industry
Assist in the preparation and presentation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual security performance reviews
Travel to customer or operational sites as required (About 25% travel)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, IT management, or a related field.
5 years' experience managing a technical capital equipment service team/program.
A deep understanding of access control, video management systems, and security incident reporting utilization
Strong technical background with understanding of ACS, VMS, electronics, technical drawings/schematics, and mechanical design.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with ability to multi-task and work under pressure while maintaining composure.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in information systems management, business, or a related field.
5 years' experience in management of technical security systems.
