As a McLane Delivery Driver/Driver Assistant, you are the face of our company to our customers. You are the person they see week after week. You will develop strong relationships that create value and trust with our customers. The variety of tasks you will perform on each route helps you stay engaged with the work. Great customer service skills are a plus!
The Box Truck Driver operates a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations.
Commercial driving experience is preferred for this position.

Pay rate: $23.00 per hour.
Day shift Start time 8:00AM - end time approx. 6:00PM -can fluctuate due to business needs.
MON-TUE-THUR-FRI
Will unload trailers and load Class C Trucks in addition to delivery.
Will work as a Driver Assistant with our CDLA Drivers as needed.
Experience using an electric pallet Jack is essential.
May work as a Driver Assistant with our CDLA Drivers on occasion.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Experience using Electric Pallet Jacks is necessary.
Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues.
Perform warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries.
Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

At least 21 years of age.
Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).
DOT physical.
Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
