Qualifications of a Social Worker:
Current LSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program (Master’s degree preferred but not required).
Experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or a related field.
Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to person-centered care.
