Aspen Medical seeks expressions of interest from experienced and qualified midwife to join our team in supporting an oil and gas project in Libya. As a ward nurse, you will be responsible for providing high quality healthcare services in hospital or clinical settings. 

Responsibilities: 

Provide care and support to pregnant women before, during, and after childbirth. 

Monitor the health of both mother and baby during pregnancy. 

Assist in delivering babies and provide postnatal care. 

Educate and counsel expectant mothers on prenatal and postnatal care. 

Requirements: 

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting 
Preferably 10 years of nursing experience in relevant departments 
Proficient in English language (written and spoken) 
Diploma from an accredited university or equivalent 
Valid license to practice nursing if applicable 
Certifications in midwifery trainings or equivalent 
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Must have a valid passport 

Must be able to relocate to Libya for a minimum of 12 months period. 

Contract Details: 

Contract duration: 5+ years 
Paid leave, accommodation, and per diem provided 
Estimated starting date: Middle towards the end of March 2024
