JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The University is a preeminent center for

Assistant Director of Post-Award reports to the Associate Director of
Post-Award, and will be responsible for leading and managing the core
functions of the post-award financial management for grants and
contracts, including overseeing the managers and day-to-day operations
of the post-award teams. Responsibilities: Leads and manages the
post-award operations of a research administration functional area by
establishing strategic priorities, interpreting policies, and reviewing
business processes related to financial compliance, reporting, audit,
and/or award closeouts on behalf of the division. 15% Directs
service-oriented training and outreach to communicate and implement
policies and procedures related to post-award research administration
operations 35% Approves or reviews processes or activities related to
financial compliance, audit, or reporting on behalf of the institution
15% Directs strategic planning initiatives and establishes project
objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial, administrative,
and/or staffing resources, and alignment with the strategic plan 20%
Serves as a liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups
providing organizational information and representing the interests of
