Buffalo, NY. Stretcher Driver. Aries Transportation Services, Inc. FT. Benefits. $18.00/Hour. Job Summary: Excellent opportunity to join well respected family owned and operated non-emergency transportation company. The Stretcher Driver has an assistant and the position's primary responsibility involves ensuring that clients are transported in a safe and timely manner. This includes driving, pushing, pulling, lifting stretchers and wheelchairs up and down ramps and steps, loading wheelchairs/stretchers into vans as a team of two. Drivers have the benefit of driving the company vehicle home. The hours are Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $18.00 per hour. Benefits offered include medical, sick time, 401k, uniforms. Must have clean drivers record with an A, B, or C class license with passenger endorsement. Must comply with any state regulations or Aries client/company policies related to health and safety related to working with clients. Must obey all Federal and State Traffic Laws. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
