Vocational Counselor Trainee II - The New York State Education Department's (NYSED) Office of Adult Career and Continuing Education Services - Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) is seeking candidates for a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor position in the Johnstown Satellite Office. This office assists persons with disabilities to attain employment, educational, and/or independent living goals. Duties of these positions include, but are not limited to, the following: <LI> Manage a caseload, including writing case notes and maintaining supporting documentation; <LI> Determine eligibility; <LI> Develop employment goals and Individualized Plans for Employment; <LI> Purchase goods and services as needed for individuals to reach their employment goals; <LI> Coordinate the resources of the family, community, and specialists; and <LI> Determine case closure. <P> Requirements - <LI> Reference/ Background Check.
