Build Boldly. HOW YOUR ROLE FITS INTO BOLDT: The Senior VDC Engineer
works with project team members to support the development and
implementation of model-based workflows that support project delivery.
This role is responsible for supporting process development, monitoring
technology usage, facilitating coordination, supporting the deployment
of Project Technology solutions, and training project team members to
ensure technical workflows are established, maintained, and optimized.
Required Skills WHAT YOU GET TO DO: Support the development and check
adherence to the BIM Execution Plan, which includes file naming, file
sharing checklists, level of detail matrix, object data requirements,
and BIM processes. Setup and manage Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro.
Support the project team in solving project problems using models and
BIM applications. Facilitate conversations regarding coordination and
constructability. Support model-based data management process through
the project lifecycle. Create Integrated Models in Revit and Navisworks
and other products to coordinate the building. Gap model missing scope
to support building coordination. Perform quality checks of model
components for usability and accuracy. Teach our team members to use VDC
and BIM software. Build reports on VDC and BIM progress to share with
project leadership teams. Support Laser scanning of in-field conditions,
register scans, and perform variance analysis. Create construction
logistic and phase plans for Construction Planning. Content creation may
include material lifts, cranes, and safety equipment. Work with the
project scheduler to create 4D schedules linking model geometry to
