Job Responsibilities
Your role is being envisaged Senior Engineer- Control Electronics in new product development team tasked with the development of next generation of variable frequency drives for Danfoss power electronics & drives.
Key tasks
• Lead and drive development of electronic (embedded) controls for motor drive application spanning all phases of product development life cycle, from ideation to release & improvement.
• Design, simulate & realize analog, digital, power supply circuits. Perform various type of analyses (derating, worst case) and select appropriate components.
• Design high-speed circuits with focus on signal and power integrity.
• Guide PCB layout engineers for mixed signal boards considering thermal, electrical safety and EMC aspects.
• Perform Board bring up, debugging and troubleshooting on prototype and pilot production boards.
• Support & participate in EMC tests like CE, surge, EFT etc. based on applicable standards.
• Prepare FCT, ICT plans in collaboration with manufacturing and provide technical clarifications to suppliers & manufacturing.
• Participate in FMEA and risk assessment activities.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary development team comprising of mechanical & firmware engineers, supply chain and product owners to deliver products.
• Participate in product certification (e.g. UL, CE, C-tick, Marine etc.)

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
• B. E (EEE/ECE/Power Electronics) and ME /M. Tech on Applied Electronics/ Control Electronics /Power Electronics
Minimum requirements to working experience.
• Experience of 6 to 9 years on
• Essential
Demonstrated experience with analog & digital electronics such as operational amplifiers, comparators, filters etc.
Familiarity with digital controllers including DSP/ Microcontrollers, FPGAs, and its design implementations.
Experience with communication protocols SPI, RS-485, CAN, Modbus etc.
Experience in High-Speed Memory Interfacing
Able to contribute as a member of an organized project team of engineers.
Experience in presenting technical information to groups and senior level management.
Strong analytical and technical skills with a thirst to learn more.
Experience leading projects and development teams in a multidisciplinary & matrix organization preferred.
• Desirable
Experience with design for fabrication, assembly, and testability for printed circuit board assemblies.
Insight into volume production of electronics, specification of (production) testing
Experience with signa & power integrity simulations using tool like SIGRITY.
Experience in EMI/EMC Testing, debugging and resolution.
