April Steel Processsingp / Delaco Steel Corp. based out of Dearborn, The primary business is the fabrication of steel and aluminum. This is a mid-size Company. The plant is 250,000 square feet, four (4) presses and approximately 150 union free employees running on two / three shifts.

We are currently searching for a Full Time Crib Attendant at our Dearborn Michiganlocation. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.

The responsibilities for this position are:

• Inventory, store and distribute hand tools and other equipment
• Maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications and safe conditions by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for damage, defects or damage.
• Track tool distribution through software
• Place orders for new tools and equipment as needed
• Perform repairs on any damaged tools or equipment
• Maintains PPE inventory and supplies production with necessary PPE
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

This position requires:

• High School Diploma or GED

• One (1) to Three (3) years in a related position

• Basic Computer Skills

• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs

• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time

• Basic Knowledge of power tools

• Ability to work with limited supervision
