Division Environmental Manager - DairyThis position provides environmental compliance assistance and oversight for the Dairy division. This position has responsibility for environmental compliance, oversight and related capital projects within the Dairy business units. This position sets strategy and develops implementation programs for Corporate Environmental Programs to ensure consistency across all Divisions. This position will be responsible for the company's wastewater treatment operations.This role can be based in Arden Hills, MN (preferred) or Virtual.In this role you will be responsible for:Environmental Compliance:Ensures environmental compliance and develops and implements strategic direction for environmental programs for the division.Leads environmental regulatory compliance training and assistance.Lead/coach/mentor/develop Plant EHS Managers.Coordinates and conducts plant environmental audits, environmental risk assessments and provides assistance in resolution of deficiencies.Wastewater/Stormwater/Water Management - Technical Program Development and Implementation:Lead, direct, and troubleshoot wastewater treatment operations for the company.Develop long term strategic plans to ensure systematic and standardized wastewater treatment to reduce operational risk.Develop and lead large wastewater treatment capital projects.Provide technical expertise to all Dairy plants to ensure compliance with Air Permits, EPCRA, Hazardous Waste, SPCC, Stormwater and RMP Programs.Corporate EHS Management Systems:Technical expert for identifying EHS Management system improvements.Lead efforts to prioritize and implement management system improvements.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - EDUCATION (Required):Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field and 10 years' experience of technical expertise in wastewater treatment plant design, operation and oversight is a must.The following Environmental certifications are preferred; PE, FET, CHMM, CEM, REMMinimum of 5 years of Enviromental Compliance Management experience in the Dairy industry preferredCOMPETENCIES-SKILLS (Required):Must possess strong leadership skills, analytical/problem solving skills, and decision-making skillsExcellent oral, written, and presentation skills at various levels of the companyStrong computer skills, including usage of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointEffective communication skills for workaing cross-functionally in a fast-paced work environmentMust be able to travel up to 50% of the time.Salary range of $117,920 - $165,000 is negotiable based on experience.About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
