Secretary - Class B - Home School Office
Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day

COMMUNITY EDUCATION Home School Office -
Duties: Support Community Education Home School / Non-Public Schools. Assist with non-public / home school enrollment, compliance, record keeping, correspondence, and material reimbursements. Provide support to general community education customers as needed. Work successfully on a team, handling sensitive communication, processing payments, and work independently on complex tasks, and work well within a team. Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; flexibility; ability / desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public; ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building.

Preferred Qualifications: One year relevant experience and/or training preferred. Proven xcellence in customer service preferred. Proven ability to work under pressure in a busy environment with frequent interruptions preferred. Proven advanced computer skills, including Excel, Google Suites, and social media platforms preferred. Experience working with data management and organization; demonstrated experience with a variety of data management software programs preferred. Experience working collaboratively within a team preferred.

Rate of pay: $18.95/hour
Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year.
