Position Summary | The Event Production Manager is a member of the Event and Facility Operations team within the University Center and oversees Production Services to provide event management support. This position directs the daily operations of University Center events, and special events in other select spaces on and off-campus, with audio-visual and event furniture services. The Event Production Manager supervises the Production Services student staff and works with clients to determine event resource needs. This position is the resident authority on the use and operation of University Center audio-visual equipment, including sound, lighting, video, staging, rigging, and computer-based multimedia systems. The Event Production Manager assists with the inventory, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting and repairs for audio-visual equipment and event furniture resources. This position works closely with Campus Reservations staff, Facility Operations staff, contracted artists and other facility users to determine and coordinate the technical and event support for successful facility utilization. |
