Cafe Bus/Runner

The Strat (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary: Busses and sets tables in Cafe. Pre-busses tables to ensure guests have all utensils and condiments necessary. Assists servers with drink orders and drink replenishing.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides guests with excellent guest service
  • Clears and cleans tables to ensure the table is ready for the next guest and transports bus trays to the back-of-the-house for cleaning
  • Re-sets tables with placemats, silverware and napkins for next guest
  • Sets condiments according to table standards and pre-busses tables to ensure guests have all utensils and condiments needed
  • Takes guests’ drink requests, delivers and ensures that drinks are refilled throughout the guests’ meal, including both alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages
  • Replenishes wares in side stations, cleans and maintains beverage equipment and cleans front-of-house areas
  • Cleans assigned section at the end of shift
  • Attends to guests needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable and important.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Six months previous experience in a high volume restaurant environment within the past 3 years preferred
  • Previous experience providing outstanding guest service
  • Must have an upbeat, outgoing, and courteous personality
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written form

  • Walking, standing or stooping (more than 50% of the time)
  • Regularly required to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
