Automobile Front End Loader Operator

Westover Auto Salvage is looking for someone with experience handling vehicles on a long & short fork setup on a front end loader. Automotive Dismantling and Recycling a huge plus. Should have your own basic tool set to dismantle small parts off of vehicles including wheels. Looking for the individual who is looking to join a Certified Auto Recycler and help move our company toward a more organized, cleaner and efficient tomorrow. Will train on the automotive side but EXPERIENCE HANDLING VEHICLES WITH A FRONT END LOADER IS ESSENTIAL!!!

Operator will be required to handle and transport vehicles safely & properly around the operation. Will be asked to facilitate inventoried, new arrival, depolluted and crush to assigned auto lifts, designated areas and to storage locations. Expected to maintain and take care of machine that you will be operating. The organization, parts conditions, storage and flow of vehicles within the facility will your primary focus.

Tasks/Responsibilities & Expectations:

-All Employees at Westover Auto Salvage wear multiple hats and are called upon to do other tasks and jobs that are outside of their primary focus. We encourage team efforts and unity while willing to promote those that show consistent above expected performance in doing what is expected and what is asked of them additionally.
-Will be tasked with dismantling smaller parts out in the field
-Will be safely moving vehicles around daily and putting them in their designated locations and to and from their storage spots.
-Responsible for taking care of the machine you will be operating. Communicating any & all observations about the machine's health status or needs.
-Responsible for the safe handling of ALL vehicles at the site and preventing the altering of the inventoried status of the parts on each vehicle. Responsible for proper storage and moving procedures of the machine and the vehicles as well as communicating immediately any discrepancies or damages.
-Expected to keep vehicle storage clean, maintained and organized
-Expected to keep your radio on you and respond to requests & needs of the front office
-Expected to handle all vehicles with care and precision
-Expected to communicate changes to inventory state and status as well as designated location changes

8am-5pm Monday thru Friday and 8am-1pm Saturdays
