The Project Manager will lead business-wide strategic projects enabling the global growth of Saint-Gobain Life Sciences' Medical, Electronic Components & Catheter businesses while supporting capacity expansions, technical transfers, industrialization and commercial process optimization. Will also support new business projects from commercialization to industrialization.

The Project Manager maintains a culture of accountability achieving worldwide excellence in the delivery of products/technology/services in support of existing and / or new business projects. Works across departments and functions to ensure flow of communication and transparency of information. Drives and innovates continuous improvements to the system, partnering with Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, Supply Chain, QA, RA, Purchasing, IT, Operations and Site Leadership Teams to ensure all facets of Commercial and Operations are considered throughout the project life cycle.

In a highly agile and empowered environment, will manage key projects while also ensuring the success of other projects across the organization, mentoring and coaching site level Project Leads.

Key Accountabilities:

Provides project direction, metric definition, and performance management. This role provides a single point of accountability for all aspects of assigned projects and the project management system used in the MEC Business Units.

Train others in best practice project management. Support, guide and coach other project managers to be successful in leading their assigned projects.

Proactively lead & organize pre-project phases to define the case for project justification/support.

Leverage global project management standards & expertise for the Business Units, with alignment with departmental standards for Engineering, R&D, etc.

Seek, adjust and integrate modern Project Management approaches like scrum or other agile approaches, methods and principles to support our project management needs in the fast changing VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) environment. Also, utilize the available Saint-Gobain internal available PM systems e.g. EEM (Early Equipment Management).

Education:

Bachelor's Degree - within Engineering, Business, Organizational Development, Project Management or related field of study; Required.

Master's Degree - Degree in Industrial or Process Engineering (Mechanical, building construction & execution, or similar field and / or Complex Project Management, or Organizational Development & change management; Preferred.

Certificate of Completion within Project Management, Required.

Certificate of Completion in Change management, Project Team Building or Leadership Training; Required.

Experience:

7+ years of Project Management experience, using standard project management approaches while managing complex projects involving matrixed or multi-business environments and cross-functional teams; Required.

3+ years of Project Management experience within Operations; Required.

Experience with modern agile approaches, continuous improvement projects / Kaizens (CIP); Preferred.

Experience in regulated industry (i.e. FDA, ISO, etc.) and working in controlled cleanroom environments; Preferred.

WCM/Lean/Six Sigma experience/certification; Preferred.

Ability to travel at 20%, domestic; Required.

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $99,900to $154,800 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 13% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $112,887 to $174,924. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
