JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: Field position requiring out of town
travel majority of the time. This position performs mechanical,
electrical and/or controls/programming upgrades, modifications, repairs,
maintenance, service, troubleshooting, startup, installation,
supervision, audits, training, and support for packaging equipment. This
includes equipment manufactured by the AHC family of companies as well
as non AHC OEM equipment. Major Responsibilities: Repair or assemble
Regal Rexnord products and equipment as well as other suppliers\'
equipment and various assemblies of parts of different types and sizes.
Technicians must perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly
and test functions. Safely and efficiently install and commission
conveying and palletizing equipment at client sites. This includes
assessing the site, setting up equipment, testing functionality, and
ensuring that all systems operate as per specifications. Perform
scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors and associated systems to
minimize breakdowns and equipment malfunctions. This includes inspecting
equipment, cleaning and lubricating parts, replacing worn components,
and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose
and resolve mechanical failures and malfunctions of conveying and
palletizing equipment using various tools and diagnostic techniques.
This may include replacing or repairing broken parts, making necessary
adjustments, and testing equipment to confirm that issues have been
resolved. Liaise with our design and production teams to suggest product
improvements and enhancements based on field observations and customer
feedback. Provide recommendations to clients and management regarding
necessary upgrades or replacements based on equipment conditions.
Possessing good mechanical knowledge and the ability to effectively use
various tools, showcasing competence in mechanical tasks and maintenance
activities. Previous experience in the packaging industry would be a
strong advantage, as it demonstrates familiarity with this sector\'s
specific requirements and challenges. Stay up to date on administrative
responsibilities, including maintaining internal service records and
manuals, customer service logs, accurate reporting (expense reports,
project closure, timekeeping, etc.), and documenting work on Service
Reports Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, highlighting
proficiency in using these software tools for documentation, data
analysis, and presentations. High degree of mechanical knowledge.
