DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful person in this role will:
* Assemble project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resources needs, and performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality timeline issues appropriately.
* Track key projects milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
* Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
* Assist Management in order to lead and direct high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
* Assemble project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of a project.
* Provide oversight, assistance, and direction for projects in domain area, as assigned. 
* Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. 
* Develop and proactively manage detailed issues and risk management plans, reflects contingencies and relate required efforts in schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, other related fields, or equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years of related work experience with at least 3 years managing projects.
* Project Management certification (PMP) or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum is required. If not completed prior to hiring, completion of this curriculum/certification must be completed after hiring (within two years).
* Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions. 
* Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.
* Expert written and verbal communication skills.

Independence has implemented a “Hybrid” model which consists of Associates working in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) and remotely 2 days a week (Monday & Friday). This role is designated as a role that fits into the “Hybrid” model. While associates may work remotely on our designated remote days, the work must be performed in the Tri-State Area of Delaware, New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
