JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Project Coordinator would be
responsible for the advanced level scheduling/coordinating of clinical
patients and research participant imaging. Scheduling involves multiple
modalities of Radiology. This position is responsible for formulating,
executing, evaluating, and handling a system for scheduling resulting in
the most efficient use of resources and managing project plans for
improvements/changes. This position will balance patient needs with
modality and specialized tracer availability. The Project Coordinator
will also be responsible for communication to the appropriate outlets to
acquire the various distinct tracers. The Project Coordinator will
organize available transitional staff into a schedule to appoint daily
contrast coverage and communicate and verify coverage daily to ensure
presence of essential staff. The coordinator will use multiple resources
to gather information needed to publish and distribute a daily schedule
from post-appointment data. The project coordinator will analyze
information for data integrity and provide ideas and implement process
improvement initiatives. The Project Coordinator must coordinate the
needs of multiple parties within the department for a well-coordinated
arrangement to ensure all resources and timeslots are filled.
Responsibilities: Plans, analyzes, manages, coordinates, and tracks
projects and quality improvement efforts for processes, procedures, and
systems. Provides management consulting to improve organizational
results. 55% Develops, schedules, coordinates, and prioritizes project
work plans in accordance with specifications and resource limitations
15% Develops, enhances, and maintains operational standards and systems
to support project teams 10% Analyzes data and trends, compiles progress
reports, and provides appropriate recommendations or conclusions 10%
Establishes, monitors, coordinates, and controls project budgets versus
actual expenditures and budget reporting 10% Serves as the initial point
of contact for the project(s), serves on committees, and attends
