Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for the support of Early Learning parents as they identify and meet their goals, the provision of crisis intervention services, data collection, documentation and actively integrating services with other agency services, utilizing the principles of Family Development.
- Family Service Workers routinely orient parents to the services provided by Head Start as well as agency wide services through the provision of home visits, center contacts, telephone contacts, as well as annually during program recruitment.
- Remains up-to-date on current services offered through SCAP. Conducts regular, but at a minimum two home visits each program year to all assigned families or if necessary coordinates and schedules these visits at the Center or appropriate alternative location at the convenience of the family.
