Regardless of the role, we recognize that every member of our team is vital! The Intermediate Infusion RN performs both independent nursing and delegated medical functions as member of the clinic care team. The independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s) in the ambulatory care setting. In addition, duties include participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members.
Intermediate Infusion RN Overview
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assesses patient needs and identifies anticipated nursing outcomes
Implements nursing interventions based on plan of care
Evaluates care and the patient's response to interventions and expected outcomes
Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patients
Finds opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and patient outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse license
BLS Certification
Current national certification depending on area of specialty or the ability to obtain within 18 months of start date or prorated for FTE appointment.
5+ years of outstanding nursing experience in an advanced specialty or acute care setting with at least 2 in advanced specialty area or 3 years of specialty experience with applicable certification based on specialty (or the ability to acquire within 18 months of start date or prorated for FTE appointment)
