Job DescriptionREQUISITION SUMMARY
The Lead Sales Application Developer is responsible for managing the development, implementation, and support of Kenworth Sales Application (PremierSpec) environment. The Lead Developer creates and maintains platform strategies to support evolving business needs. The Lead Developer builds and strengthens relations with business customers, other departments and develops the team to meet new technical and functional requirements. The Lead Developer will assign projects/assignments based on requirements and availability of development team.
DUTIES
Manage and supervise EDP process; including planning, assigning and monitoring work activities.
Ensures proper training, development of skills and mentoring of relationships with other members of development team.
Provides leadership for PremierSpec development projects in tandem with Sales Application Project Manager
Develops project roadmaps for on-going projects in tandem with Sales Application Project Manager
Facilitates discussions for Sprint development cycles within team to include; planning, progress and review of past cycles.
Embodies and promotes Kenworth values of Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, Openness and Learning.
Supports and grow's PACCAR Agile Development process and mindset and provides day to day agile leadership for the team.
Maintains collaborative partnerships with other internal Kenworth departments, PACCAR departments, ITD departments and external vendors.
Identify and champion process improvement projects with PremierSpec team.
Leads PremierSpec training for internal and external customers.
Coordinate resource management with the Project Manager.
Identify and manage Sales Tool enhancement projects.
Draft technical documentation of business processes.
Manages the "What's New" company-wide communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or another related field required.
5+ years' experience in code development, scripting, workflow, and data mapping.
Knowledge of development testing methods.
Agile development experience required.
Willing to learn new technologies.
Demonstrated leadership skills and effective communication of tasks and goals with team.
Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and customer support environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of following technologies is a plus.

The salary range for Lead Sales Application Developer is $80,800-$126,600 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
