Position Summary: Support field operations with construction materials, tools and supplies
** The role is based out of our Middletown, OH facility**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process items in/out of the warehouse according to the defined process
Fill orders from the field for tools and supplies from warehouse inventory
Monitor inventory and coordinate with Team Lead
Maintain correct location and sorting of like tools, only tooling ready to ship is on the shelf
Service counter customers
Work with team to maintain warehouse clean and orderly
Utilize tagging procedure for all items pulled
Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Assist with loading/unloading orders in delivery vehicles
Unload returned gang boxes, crates, pallets and/ or other (connex, office trailer, etc.) and separate used tooling to be repaired, credits for returned new items, marking good consumables N/C to be used on another job, and re-stocking items in the appropriate location
Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
Receive, examine and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required
One to three years construction or shipping/ receiving experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Customer service oriented
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Good time management
Efficient in Microsoft Office platform
General knowledge of construction tools, materials, and supplies
