Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance / Financial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in:
• Rates trading in the financial industry, with a focus on emerging markets in Asia;
• Asia emerging market interest rate products, including government bonds, interest rate swaps, futures, and options;
• Evaluating macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, and geopolitical factors influencing emerging markets in Asia;
• Understanding and adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial industry for Asian local market(s); and,
• Performing quantitative data/market analysis using either Python/VBA or R.
Must also hold or be able to obtain within 6 months the following certifications:
• FINRA Series 7;
• FINRA Series 63;
• CFA; and
• Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
