Job Description:
Need 9 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work at locations in Douglas and Kandiyohi Counties in Minnesota.
From: 03/01/2024 to 12/01/2024
Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.
At the employer's sole discretion, applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage or possibly an end-of-season bonus, due to factors including experience, merit, attendance, attitude, and/or skill.

JOB DUTIES: Operate farming equipment in order to apply organic fertilizer to farmer’s fields. Perform basic farm servicing and maintenance work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Driver's License (Class D) in 30 days. Clean driving record required. Six (6) months experience. Employer requires random drug screening post-hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating heavy machinery and trucks. Failure to pass drug screening will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
