<strong>Contract Position</strong>
<br>
<br>This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military. <br>

<strong>Responsibilities:</strong>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Perform detailed layout design and documentation of printed circuit boards under direction from a team of electrical and mechanical engineers</li>
<li>Work from schematics, part lists, and basic description of the board function, constraints, configuration, and arrangement as defined by the team of electrical and mechanical engineers</li>
<li>Use the Siemens/Mentor Graphics Xpedition toolset, including Layout, Valor, DRC Hazard Checker, Constraint Editor/Constraint Manager (CES), Drawing Editor, and other related tools</li>
<li>Create electronic library symbols, geometry, footprints, etc</li>
<li>Run Valor and DRC Hazard checks to ensure your work is error-free and the design will meet expectations </li>
<li>Check drawings against the project inputs for correctness and conformance to standard engineering drafting practices and standards </li></ul>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience</li>
<li>Demonstrate a passion for innovation, teamwork, and a strong sense of ownership. </li>
<li>Extensive experience designing HDI printed circuit/wiring boards for high-speed designs, is well versed in MIL and IPC Standards, and is familiar with the current Siemens/Mentor Graphics tools including Xpedition Design and Layout, Valor (artwork checking tool), Constraint Editor/Constraint Manager (CES), and Drawing Editor.</li></ul>
