What is the opportunity?
This position will manage the AOS COE team Interpreting data and reporting data findings are key roles in the position. Data analytics managers also keep up on data industry trends and the availability of upgrades to a system, advising organizational leaders when changes need to be made. It also partners across IT and the business to assess, research, and analyze business.
What will you do?

Ensure that employees understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviors that contribute to RBC goals

Provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development, and rewarding strong performance

Executing Performance Management processes, including ensuring development plans & performance reviews are in place

Exemplify the leadership values and collective ambition focus of RBC

Identify inherent value/strengths/benefits of team, department, and enterprise to develop better solutions and achieve a cross-enterprise mindset

Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process, and keeping them focused on business priorities

Understand and promote all compliance and conduct risk requirements established by RBC
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a concentration in a business or technology related discipline

5+ years of data analytics

5+ years of experience in financial services industry

3+ years demonstrated project team coordination and/or coaching/mentoring leadership experience

Proven strategic influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills (ability to assertively express ideas, needs and requests and build group consensus - "sells" ideas)

Strong leadership, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Fully proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and JIRA
