At Boston Scientific, we'll give you the opportunity to harness all that's within you by working in teams of diverse and high-performing employees, tackling some of the most important health industry challenges. With access to the latest tools, information and training, we'll help you in advancing your skills and career. Here, you'll be supported in progressing - whatever your ambitions.
About the Role:
The Presentation Designer serves as a partner to C-suite executives in developing compelling stories and visual assets to complement key presentations. These presentations will help to inform and inspire key internal and external audiences including other executives, investors, sales team members and customers. Graphic design skills are a must, but the ideal candidate is more than just a skilled designer - they are a creative storyteller, capable of distilling the complex concepts down to clear and concise visual elements. You'll create memorable visuals that capture and communicate key messages and concepts in the most impactful ways, optimizing them for key audiences, formats and channels. You don't just sit back - you proactively make recommendations on slides and talk tracks, working with key stakeholders in marketing, corporate communications and other functions to understand, reinforce and refine the story around key divisional initiatives. You don't wait for direction - you are willing to go the extra mile to track down a slide from another team member, create a custom visual or engage an external vendor to create a video.
Responsibilities:
Serve as chief storyteller for the division - understand key divisional narratives and initiatives and weave these into presentations for a wide range of internal and external audiences
Translate complex business objectives and data to clear and compelling visual stories that help communicate company goals and performance
Work under pressure / under deadline with senior leaders and handle a wide range of tasks and projects at the same time
Independently track down visual assets within the organization (partnering with marketing finance and R&D) and suggest/create new visual assets whenever needed
Deliver finished and approved presentations to relevant stakeholders in support of the strategic planning process, annual operating plan, sales meetings and other major events throughout the calendar year
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or similar field
8+ years' experience as a presentation designer or content designer in an agency or in-house setting
Intimate knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Experience with standard design tools including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator - demonstrated ability able to use these tools to generate visual assets for presentations
