The primary functions of an Underground Construction Technician are to
install, expand and maintain ALLO's underground conduit system safely and
efficiently. While this position is in a home market some travel, up to
50%, might be required based on the needs and schedule of construction.
Duties for this position can be physically demanding and require working in an
outdoor construction setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare trench areas for the installation of conduit, pedestals and other
ALLO structures.
Install, maintain, and expand ALLO's conduit network in preparation of
underground fiber installation.
Use appropriate heavy equipment, hand, and power tools to properly erect
all components necessary for lifting, moving, and installing underground
materials in accordance with the applicable plans, specifications, codes
