Job Description:
Need 4 seasonal, full-time, temporary Farmworkers/Laborers to work in Lake Crystal, MN.
From: 05/05/2023 to 11/15/2023
Work: 35 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day
Typical daily hours 7:00a.m.- 4:00p.m.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and/ or productivity.
A worker can earn bonuses based on performance. Bonuses are based on performance and are at the sole discretion of the employer.

JOB DUTIES: Worker will manually plant, cultivate and harvest vegetables and fruits. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears and knives. Duties may include tilling soil and applying fertilizers; transplanting, weeding, thinning or pruning crops; applying pesticides; cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested products. May participate in irrigation activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: One (1) month experience. Able to lift 50 pounds. Must have regular driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Able to perform work that requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, walking, stooping and repetitive movements. Pass a post-hire drug screening and criminal background check, at the employers expense. No HS Diploma/GED required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
