Responsibilities include:
Plan and design fiber routes to prepare estimates
Understand and learn actual costs from construction projects enabling precise estimates
Take part of construction meetings understanding all current projects
Work with many different resources; implementation team, network engineers, field personnel and contractors to ensure quality quotes
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Assist in keeping our pricing up to date for quotes
Analyze and recommend upgrade/expansion strategies
Work flexible hours
Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision.
Participates in engineering, permit and construction processes
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with fiber optic network documentation tools
3+ years of OSP construction or estimating experience
Strong financial understanding
College degree or equivalent experience
Strong analytical skills - ability to translate data to strategy
Ability to think creatively and strategically
Strong communication skills are absolutely essential as is a cooperative attitude toward co-workers, customers and contractors
Excellent organization and time management skills
Visual design skills are a strong plus
Ability to interact effectively with other team members
Must be able to work independently without supervision
Ability to adhere to Local, Federal regulations and Company policies
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, with a satisfactory driving record
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods.
Must have ability to frequently use repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and/or fingers.
Must have ability to operate standard office equipment, to include personal computer, telephone, and calculator.
Must have ability to communicate verbally by phone and in person.
Must have close visual acuity for viewing a computer terminal, reading, transcribing and analyzing data and figures.

The base salary range in CA, NY and WA, for this position is $68,000.00 - $105,000.00, plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to CA, NY and WA, and may not be applicable to other locations.
