Job Purpose
The responsibilities include, developing creative intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces. The ability to design with modularity in mind; of components, documentation, testing and version management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Node.js, code flow and the ability to recommend, and implement ideas to design a Greenfield solution.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
Hands on experience with frontend development and management of frontend projects, WebPack and npm library/registry management.
Ability to work collaboratively or independently, developing applications and services using Agile development methods
Previous working experience with Node.js for (5+) years with understanding of code flow
Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.
Build custom UI and back-end services for shopfloor application administration and management
Code, test and operate node.js based services
Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix bugs before they become a problem
Able to design a system of cohesive and aesthetically pleasing UIs
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology or equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum 3years of development experience
Minimum 3years experience of Node.js
Minimum 2 years experience front end design
Language Skills:
English (fluency in reading, writing and speaking); other language skills helpful
Additional skills:
Good communication skills, a team player
GO programming experience and Docker with swarm/kubernetes a plus
Deep understanding of Linux
Applicable knowledge of frontend frameworks such as AngularJS, VueJs, and Lit
Understanding of native features of web browsers beyond frameworks
Strong analytical skills and problem solving aptitude
Attention to details
Experience designing application interfaces in manufacturing environments
Front-end performance optimization
Understanding back-end technologies and databases is a plus
