Job Description:
Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for managing all of the scope, schedule, budget, and quality aspects of assigned facilities related projects under the guidance of the Director of Design and Construction. Additionally responsible for the analytics and reporting of construction performance factors to support quality improvement initiatives.
Job Functions
Defines, manages, and delivers projects that meet the scope, schedule, budget, close out, and quality expectations of each client. Uphold and oversee all warranty repairs.
Creates a working environment that allows everyone to work to the best of their abilities.
Communicates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders via verbal and written progress reports.
Follows Ridgeview's project management standards and methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement.
Assesses project risks and issues; develops and implements strategies and tactics to mitigate risks.
Acts as liaison between Ridgeview support departments, end users, and external stakeholders.
Develops dashboards to report on key metrics and leading indicators of overall financial and operational performance for all facets of the Design and Construction Department.
Supports the Director of Design and Construction in quality improvement efforts and service delivery that contributes to the overall success and financial viability of Ridgeview.
Lead and motivates project teams through project completion.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Employment Requirements
Minimum Education / WorkExperience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities, Construction, Project Management or 10+ years of a related field.
2+years of experience in facilities or construction management, 2+years in Health Care or related field
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to partner with technical and non-technical staff as well as third party vendors to deliver effective results.
Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents, and plans.
Knowledge of the project development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, bidding/contracting, implementation, and closeout.
Highly developed problem solving skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables.
Strong ability to see business requirements from the user point of view and translate them into a comprehensive project plan that balances scope, schedule, budget, and quality needs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and clearly articulate business needs to internal partners and external vendors.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above.
License / Certifications
Valid MN Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Microsoft Project
