Established in 2017 by industry experts in the growing Massachusetts South Coast, the Waterfront Cold Storage network has now expanded to 5 locations in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts containing a pallet count of 17,500+. We have 24/7 security surveillance, redundant compressors as well as HACCP and FDA certifications to ensure that our warehouse and your products are safe and secure.

Requirements:

· Perform upgrades to refrigerated warehouse space with the Maintenance/Engineering team as required for 5 cold store facilities.

· Maintain existing warehousing & facilities in effective operating condition.

· Monitoring Refrigeration system.

· Monitor Defrosting units.

· Complete routine checks daily on all systems, and report and record information.

· Ability to troubleshoot systems, and repair leaks, or damages.

· Coordinate project status with supervisor to prevent unplanned downtime.

· Required to work on all mechanical equipment repairs and maintenance programs, including supporting the development of Waterfront?s PSM program and a PM program.

· Attend calls on lines, working on planned and unplanned Maintenance work.

· Complete Work Orders to include Annual, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily PM?s.

· Support and manage Maintenance and Engineering projects as needed.

· General building maintenance including light electrical.

· Occasional repairs on material handling equipment such as forklifts.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

§ Refrigeration exp is a PLUS

§ Ammonia Exp. Is a PLUS

§ Operator 1-3 Cert is a PLUS

§ EPA 608,601

§ 2+ years mechanical and electrical experience maintaining forklifts and warehouse equipment or combination of experience and trade school.

§ Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.

§ Excellent communication skills.

§ Knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, sanders in the set up and fitting for welding or in finishing of welds.

§ Physically capable of lifting as much as one hundred pounds and carrying 50 pounds.

§ Must demonstrate strong problem-solving ability.

§ Knowledge of electrical.

§ Effective problem-solving abilities.

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

§ Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.

§ High school diploma or GED

§ Previous experience in Cold Store.

§ Previous experience in facility/factory refrigeration are
