EMPLOYER: Optum Services, Inc.
JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES: Design, implement and maintain applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Understand business initiatives including technical and non-technical requirements; Design and implement scalable solutions; Translate complex concepts in ways that can be understood by non-technical audiences; Create technical specification, Code/Application documentation and process; Engage with other teams and dev leads to build solution to meet business initiatives; Conduct code review to ensure delivery of high quality standards; Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes; Conduct website performance and usability tests; Produce reusable and maintainable solutions that are highly performant and maintain rigorous security standards; Lead development efforts on large epic initiatives and complex third party integrations. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.
